Linear Low Density
Linear Low Density (LLDPE) trash bags are extremely strong bags and more resistant to puncturing and/or tearing, but do not hold as much weight as High-Density (HDPE) trash bags. Linear Low Density garbage bags will also stretch considerably before they puncture and/or rip, therefore they are the bag of choice if the possibility exists that anything within the contents of the bag will be sharp such as bolts, sticks, glass, crab legs, eating utensils and any sharp object that could possibly puncture the bag.
One drawback to Linear Low Density trash bags is the fact that they generally cost almost double that of High Density trash bags and do not hold as much weight, therefore if you don't have any sharp objects that could possibly puncture the bag, High Density trash bags are a better and more cost-effective option.
